Arizona Near You Network (Distance Education)

Through its land-grant mission, the University of Arizona is committed to serving the state of Arizona and students who seek to earn a high-quality degree from its flagship university. Programs at our Near You Network locations offer a mix of face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online courses to meet the demands of students, giving them direct access to on-site faculty, advisors, program directors, and support staff. Through partnerships with local community colleges, students can earn a bachelor’s or graduate degree without leaving their community.

Meet the Distance Education Team

Colleges and departments that are interested in offering full degree programs at any current distance location, or at any new site, should contact the Administration team as early as possible in the planning stages, but at least six months in advance at minimum.

Administration

The Administration team assists colleges and departments with the overall planning, implementation, and business modeling for distance education programming and oversees the support staff and activities at distance sites. The team serves as a liaison to campus service providers such as Admissions, Bursar, Registrar, and Financial Aid to support the overall student experience as well as works with community, education, and governmental partners to expand programs and services.
